Breakfast Team Member (Front of House)

Pyes Mill Hotel – Lancaster
Thurnham Lane, Lancaster, LA2 0BD

Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Breakfast Team Member to join our Front of House team at Pyes Mill Hotel.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming start to our guests' day. You will be responsible for serving breakfast, looking after hotel guests, maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring a smooth breakfast service.

Hours

  • 7:00am – 11:00am
  • 5–6 days per week
  • Weekend availability is essential
  • Additional hours and overtime available for the right candidate
  • Opportunity to assist within other areas of the hotel and restaurant

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and seating hotel guests for breakfast
  • Taking food and beverage orders
  • Serving breakfast dishes and drinks efficiently
  • Setting up and preparing the breakfast service area
  • Clearing and resetting tables
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the restaurant
  • Ensuring buffet and service stations remain stocked and presentable
  • Handling guest enquiries professionally and confidently
  • Supporting the wider hotel team when required

What We're Looking For

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not essential
  • Friendly, positive and professional attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Excellent attention to detail
