Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 9:00pm

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Bar Manager to support the Bar Manager in the day-to-day running of the bar operation at Gosfield Hall.

You will help lead the bar team, maintain high standards of service, and ensure guests receive an exceptional experience throughout every wedding and event.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Bar Manager with the day-to-day operation of the bar department
  • Support, motivate and lead the bar team to deliver exceptional service
  • Ensure drinks service is delivered efficiently and professionally
  • Assist with stock control, ordering and stock takes
  • Support with training and developing bar team members
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety and food safety requirements
  • Help maintain high presentation and cleanliness standards throughout the venue
  • Deal with guest queries and resolve issues professionally
  • Act as an ambassador for Country House Weddings at all times
  • Assist with venue preparation, service and close-down procedures as required
  • Undertake any additional duties requested by the Venue Manager

About You

  • Previous bar and hospitality experience is essential
  • Supervisory or management experience within a bar or hospitality environment is desirable
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A positive attitude with the ability to lead by example
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Information

  • Due to the venue's location, own transport is essential.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
