Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Supervisor to oversee morning service operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food preparation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves supervising breakfast service, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and managing a team of kitchen and serving staff to deliver smooth and efficient operations. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments is highly desirable. The Breakfast Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining high standards of hospitality and food quality during the breakfast service period.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of breakfast service, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food and beverages.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Manage team members including kitchen staff and servers, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Assist with food production tasks as needed, including preparing ingredients and assembling dishes.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to the management team.
  • Handle guest enquiries or complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and service areas.
  • Support the implementation of health & safety policies across the team.

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
  • Experience in food safety protocols and hygiene standards.
  • Familiarity with hospitality service procedures including serving guests efficiently.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively under pressure.
  • Previous experience in culinary roles such as chef or barista is advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen equipment operation. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality setting while ensuring exceptional breakfast experiences for our guests through excellent supervision and culinary expertise.
