Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our vibrant restaurant environment. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining areas. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food and customer service, and who thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Engage with customers, providing friendly service and assisting with their needs.
  • Utilise basic maths skills for handling transactions and upselling menu items effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
  • Manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly while maintaining quality standards.
  • Support kitchen staff during peak hours, helping with various culinary tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • A passion for food and a willingness to learn new skills in food preparation and service.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
