Full job description

We are looking for a Junior Sous to join our team in our fresh food kitchen in Woodford! Our menu changes seasonally but always has freshly produced pub classics at the heart of it.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the chefs in overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations
- Ensure food preparation and cooking is done according to recipes and quality standards
- Help supervise other members of kitchen staff
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and specials
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, in a fresh food restaurant or pub setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, fresh food environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
