Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve supporting the general manager in the day to day running, staff management, preparing and serving drinks, food service and contributing to an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • To support the general manager in the day to day running of the business, including staff training and event planning.
  • Ensure the bar area is kept clean and tidy at all times, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations when necessary.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of current drink trends and menu offerings to enhance customer experience.
  • Provide efficient food service along with knowledge of the product.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a management role within the hospitality industry is essential.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and practices to ensure compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
