Head Waiter/Waitress at The Roslin Beach Hotel, Southend-on-Sea

Competitive rate of pay plus additional service charge

An exciting opening has become available to join our restaurant team at our beautiful coastal hotel in Thorpe Bay, Essex.

The Roslin Beach Hotel is an AA 4 Silver Star hotel with a multi award-winning Two AA Rosette Restaurant that is recognised across the country. This thriving hotel is proudly located on Thorpe Esplanade with panoramic views of the beautiful Estuary in each of our dining rooms.

About the role:

As a head waiter/waitress you will be a key support to the food and beverage department in overseeing the day-to-day operations. It is an extremely hands on role that requires someone with the ability to multitask. You will be required to take control of your own section, assist F&B managers during shifts and effectively communicate with the wider team. The successful candidate will be provided various training.

What we would like from you:

  • Experience in a similar hospitality environment is a must
  • Sociable and punctual with a warm, personable nature
  • Excellent knowledge of fine dining, ability to learn our seasonal menus and wine pairings
  • To consistently achieve a high level of service through the monitoring of our established brand standards
  • Excellent attention to detail enabling you to enhance our customers’ visits, surprising and delighting them at every opportunity to create lasting memories
  • A strong team player with a can-do attitude, willing to lend a hand wherever needed
