Full Job Description

Valentina Deli & Fine Food Store, located in the heart of Weybridge, is looking for a friendly, reliable, experienced, and enthusiastic Delicatessen / Fine Food Store Specialist Team Member to join our team.

The Role

As part of our team, you will:

• Deliver outstanding customer service with confidence, warmth, and enthusiasm.
• Prepare and package fresh food and delicatessen products.
• Slice and serve premium meats and cheeses.
• Replenish stock and create attractive product displays.
• Operate the till and handle customer payments.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and food safety.
• Ensure the delicatessen and store are presented to the highest standards at all times.
• Share your knowledge of our Mediterranean products and confidently make recommendations to customers.
• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, merchandising, and general store duties as required.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a delicatessen, fine food retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.

• Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Salary: From £30,000 plus per annum (pro rata for part-time), depending on experience.

Requirements

• Ability to reliably commute to Weybridge, Surrey KT13, or relocate before starting work.
• A minimum of two years' experience in retail, food retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment is preferred.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
