Full job description

Castle Carvery Racecourse have a vacancy for a Restaurant Supervisor.

This is a 'hands on' role and involves assisting in all aspects of the day to day running of the restaurant, including:

  • Opening and setting up, closing down and cashing up
  • Running a service while motivating and supporting the team
  • Adhering to company policies and standards, and training staff to follow them
  • Driving sales and controlling wastage
  • Helping to manage rotas and keep the team running smoothly
  • Handling guest queries and complaints in the moment
  • Finally the most important job of all, is ensuring all our guests receive excellent customer service and can't wait to return

The ideal candidate will have some management or supervisory experience, either already in a similar role or having worked in hospitality for a while and ready for the next step up. You'll enjoy serving customers and the buzz a busy service brings.

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year from 11am till 10pm. The hours will be varied and include daytimes, evenings and weekends.

Contracted hours, hourly pay and tips.
