Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Weekend Breakfast Waiter to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences in a lively breakfast setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing attentive service, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred, but a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are equally valued.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and take their breakfast orders with efficiency and courtesy
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety protocols
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
  • Ensure tables are cleared and reset efficiently for incoming guests
  • Handle guest enquiries professionally, providing information about menu options and specials
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including tables, counters, and utensils throughout shifts
  • Manage cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
  • Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including food safety standards

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
  • Familiarity with serving protocols, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle peak hours effectively
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to ensure a positive guest experience
