Assistant Pub Manager (food led)

Location: Richmond TW10 7DB
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: £14 per Hour + Service Charge
Start Date: Late October

Are you a passionate leader with a love for food, service, and teamwork? We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Pub/ Restaurant Manager to help drive operations, lead our team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences at The New Inn in Richmond.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the General Manager in daily operations, staff management, and guest satisfaction. You'll play a key role in maintaining high service standards, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations
  • Lead and support /train front-of-house staff
  • Ensure excellent customer service at all times
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and health standards
  • Assist in staff scheduling, training, and performance reviews
  • Help monitor inventory and manage supplier relationships
  • Support financial goals through cost control and sales initiatives
  • Manage social media

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role
