Full job description

We’re looking for a friendly and motivated Twenty 8 Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant Kitchen Team In this role, you’ll be an essential part of delivering delicious meals and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Whether you’re chopping, cooking, or helping with meal prep, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for both staff and guests. Duties

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking of menu items following established recipes and standards.
  • Support meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling and storage.
  • Help ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times to keep the kitchen safe and hygienic.
  • Participate in meal prep during busy periods to help meet service demands efficiently.
  • Support serving staff by preparing ingredients or dishes as needed for timely service.
  • Contribute to inventory checks by reporting shortages or issues with supplies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant work is a plus but not mandatory—willingness to learn is key!
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and culinary techniques preferred.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.

Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
