Job Summary
WOK TO WALK Leeds is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time WOK Chef / Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in both food preparation and customer service within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidates will contribute to delivering high-quality Asian cuisine, ensuring excellent service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Prior experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts and customer satisfaction who thrive under pressure and enjoy working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes with attention to quality and presentation
  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and delivering exceptional service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and front-of-house areas
  • Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
  • Support the team during busy periods by assisting with food assembly and customer orders
  • Contribute to creating a positive dining experience through friendly interaction with guests
  • Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers and team members
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required
