Full job description

As we enter the final chapter of our 22-year journey, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team on a 12-week fixed-term contract, helping us deliver exceptional food and memorable experiences right through to our final service on 31st August.

The Role

Working alongside the Head Chef and kitchen team, you will:

  • Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Maintain high food quality and presentation standards.
  • Assist with ordering, stock control and GP management.
  • Help train and motivate junior team members.
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
  • Lead by example during busy services.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef.
  • Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Reliable, hardworking and team-focused attitude.
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine would be an advantage but is not essential.
