Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious breakfast and lunch dishes that delight our guests and set the tone for their day. Your culinary expertise, attention to food safety, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment will ensure our breakfast service runs smoothly and exceeds expectations. Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of breakfast items with precision and flair, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently
  • Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to create appealing and innovative breakfast options
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering strictly to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Manage meal preparation times effectively to ensure prompt service during busy hours
  • Support the team in serving guests by ensuring timely delivery of hot, fresh dishes
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of kitchen equipment and food storage practices

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a kitchen assistant within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, especially related to breakfast foods such as eggs, pancakes, pastries, and breakfast meats
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a professional kitchen setting
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours
  • Previous restaurant experience of 4+years is essential
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support breakfast service
  • A positive attitude with a passion for creating delicious meals that enhance guest experiences
