Full job description

You as a Restaurant Supervisor

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the running of shifts in 1931 Restaurant, ensuring that the service and product offered to our guests is of the highest standard whilst maintaining and driving the profitability of the business at all times. You will be required to provide a strong managerial presence across breakfast, lunch and dinner services, with your presence particularly important during our key trading periods.

You will have impeccable levels of presentation and will be required to maintain a managerial presence throughout each service, providing an example to all staff and regularly checking on the guest experience to ensure that every guest receives the highest level of service.

You will also be required to deputise in the absence of other managers within the Food & Beverage department, so experience of supervising events and wider hotel operations is welcomed.

Your Skills and Experience as a Restaurant Supervisor

Previous experience at supervisor level is preferred. Experience in a similar style of restaurant or hotel environment is also desirable. A passion for customer service is essential to ensure that every guest and visitor receives a personal service that is consistent and in line with The Hope Street Hotel's standards.

1931 Restaurant operates across breakfast, lunch and dinner, and we are open 365 days a year, including over the festive period, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, which you may be required to work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
