We are looking for an experienced Full Time Food And Beverage Assistant To join our Amazing Fine dining Team , With amazing Pay and Amazing Service Charge

The Role:

As a Fine Dining Server at BLOK, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an outstanding dining experience. You will be responsible for providing attentive, knowledgeable, and personalised service in a sophisticated environment. Your ability to anticipate guest needs, recommend menu items, and maintain the highest standards of service will contribute to our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly, provide menu recommendations, and answer any questions regarding the menu, wine list, and specials.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver a seamless dining experience by coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff, timing service accurately, and ensuring all guest requests are met promptly.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as a strong knowledge of wine pairings and other beverages.
  • Table Maintenance: Ensure tables are properly set before service and cleared promptly after each course, maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout service.
  • Upselling: Utilise suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Payment Processing: Handle guest payments accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient service flow.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Professionalism: Impeccable grooming, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
