Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant or catering experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring fair compensation for your efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests, ensuring high standards of customer service
  • Take orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff
  • Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards
  • Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations
  • Maintain a clean and organised dining area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
  • Handle guest enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper food handling and hygiene practices
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
  • Strong guest service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and professionalism
  • Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and cash handling purposes
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential
  • Basic kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Flexibility to work shifts as required, including evenings and weekends if necessary
