Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. With 3 years experience behind the bar, who can make classics as well as create new cocktails, clean and tidy. run stock takes and manger the bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills in serving and hospitality will be valued. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards and effective time management skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and maintaining the bar area to high standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and stock.
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations.
  • Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped at all times.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols diligently.
  • Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by business needs.
