Front of House Team Members

Argyll Holidays: Hunters Quay, Dunoon, Argyll

Argyll Holidays are seeking friendly and professional Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant Loch & Quay restaurant team at Hunter Quay Holiday Village.

In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring guests receive exceptional service from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to create a memorable experience for all visitors. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork and guest satisfaction are paramount. Live in accommodation can also be provided to the right candidates at a subsidised cost.

Responsibilities

  • Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly
  • Provide excellent guest service, addressing any enquiries or special requests with professionalism
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
  • Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • follow all in house procedures with a high level of detail
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures in line with food safety regulations
  • Prepare and serve barista style coffee with our Lavazza coffee machine

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation practices is desirable
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience in serving or guest services roles is preferred
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively whilst maintaining a proactive attitude
