Full job description

Front of House / Waiting Staff

Full time, part time and seasonal

Experience Preferred

Up to £12.30 per hour

plus, circa £5000 p.a. in tips, paid monthly

At Tom’s Lyme Regis we aim to provide an outstanding customer experience, where the quality of both the food and the customer service are of the highest standards.

We are looking for confident, friendly people to help us provide a warm welcome and excellent service to all our customers. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team.

The role

  • Welcoming customers on arrival and introducing the menus
  • Taking customers’ orders for food and drink
  • Serving food and drink at the table
  • Preparation and service of hot and cold drinks
  • Being familiar with menu items and drinks
  • Preparing customer bills and taking payment through the till
  • Setting the restaurant and tables before services
  • General cleaning duties to ensure we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness

We are a family run restaurant in Lyme Regis with a focus on high quality local food and restaurant service. We opened in 2020 and were awarded our first AA Rosette in 2021.

We have a lively team of 12 people and offer one of the most desirable working locations in the area. Based directly on the seafront we have spectacular views over Lyme Bay and the Jurassic Coast.
