Job Summary

We are seeking a number of dynamic and passionate Chefs of all levels to join our kitchen team at The Pollards Inn in Willaston. The pub has been closed for nearly 2 years and we are bringing it back to its former glory. We want to deliver an exceptional pub dining experience, focused on exciting fresh ingredients but retaining the 'Pub' feel. Our ethos is simply guest first, delighting at every opportunity through the flavours, presentation and delivery of food we are proud of.

Duties

  • Prepare dishes to our specification and recipes in an efficient, safe manner
  • Play your role in the kitchen team focusing on respect, kindness and the main goal.
  • Work to food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
  • Prepare ingredients, and execute cooking processes
  • Help colleagues and team improve their skills where appropriate
  • Ensure timely serving of dishes while maintaining a lively and positive kitchen atmosphere

Experience

  • A background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary arts
  • Solid kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Experience in food production for various cuisines
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
  • Previous restaurant experience with a focus on serving high-quality meals in a hospitality setting preferable but not imperative.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
