Job Overview
We are seeking a personable and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring all beverage orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where customer satisfaction is our top priority. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and hospitality standards.

Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and take their beverage orders with attentiveness and professionalism
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Ensure all beverages are served responsibly, adhering to licensing laws and safety regulations
  • Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately, and handle tips courteously
  • Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials
  • Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere while promoting special offers or events
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols diligently

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality or food service roles, particularly as a bartender or server
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
