Job Overview

We are seeking friendly and professional Waitress/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest service, possess a keen eye for detail, and have a genuine enthusiasm for creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves serving food and beverages, assisting guests with their orders, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and seat them comfortably, providing attentive and courteous service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
  • Serve food and drinks in accordance with health and safety standards, maintaining cleanliness at all times
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and process payments efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations in line with hygiene regulations
  • Assist in food preparation or bar tending duties as required, supporting kitchen staff when necessary
  • Ensure guest requests are addressed promptly and professionally, fostering a welcoming environment
  • Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving procedures
  • Ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills with effective time management capabilities
  • Experience in food preparation or culinary activities is desirable but not essential
  • A proactive attitude towards guest services, with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
