About the Role

As the first point of contact for all guests, you’ll be the warm, welcoming face of Beech Hill Country House. From check-in to check-out, you’ll ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. You’ll play a key role in coordinating front desk operations, supporting wedding parties, and maintaining exceptional service standards that reflect the professionalism of our venue.

What You’ll Do

Guest Experience & Front Desk Operations

  • Welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage daily check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and issue room keys.
  • Handle calls, emails, and guest enquiries with efficiency and care.
  • Liaise with housekeeping and events teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate guest information and booking confirmations.

Booking & Administration

  • Manage and update rooming lists, payments, and receipts.
  • Ensure financial accuracy and maintain daily reconciliations.
  • Prepare reception timelines for weddings and upcoming events.
  • Monitor the calendar for arrivals and ensure readiness ahead of each day.

Team Collaboration & Communication

  • Coordinate daily with the planning team to align on guest needs.
  • Complete clear daily handovers for the next shift.
  • Maintain an organised reception environment and up-to-date SOPs.
  • Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings, rota planning, and ongoing training.
