Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused part-time Restaurant Waitstaff and Support Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent guest services, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and supporting the smooth operation of our dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and possess a keen eye for detail to deliver memorable dining experiences.

Duties

  • Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and ensuring they feel comfortable throughout their visit
  • Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems
  • Serving food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Assisting with food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with health regulations
  • Supporting food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations and replenishing supplies
  • Upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
  • Clearing tables, cleaning work areas, and ensuring the dining environment remains tidy and inviting
  • Providing exceptional guest service by addressing enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and anticipating guest needs
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
  • Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 24.0 per week
