Full job description

We are looking for experienced front of house staff to strengthen our existing team at The Ingham Swan. We are a 3AA Rosette restaurant offering a fine dining experience in a relaxed and intimate setting with 7 bespoke ensuite bedrooms.

We are located approximately 16 miles from Norwich and a leading Independent restaurant group and have career opportunities for development and progression. Various options available from 20 to 30 hours a week. Hours will be a combination of breakfast/daytime, evening and weekends and would include some housekeeping tasks. Ongoing and permanent positions available. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar food and drink establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure that all customers have a positive experience at The Ingham Swan.

· Ensuring a friendly and welcome atmosphere

· Demonstrate a polite manner, and a calm professional attitude towards guests and team members.

· Show excellent verbal communication skills with customers, talk confidently about our products to guests showing an understanding for our ethos.

· Be able to sustain a proactive work ethic and positive energy throughout long and late shifts.

· Work efficiently to manage a section of tables in the restaurant without direct supervision.

· Have basic bar skills in order to prepare and effectively sell our extensive selection of wine and liquors.

· Applicants must be minimum 18 years old.

Own transport to the location is essential do to no regular public transport link.

Competitive hourly rates bases on experience and share of generous tips. Must be available evenings and weekends.

Pay: £10.85-£12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
