CATERING ASSISTANT - ROBERTSBRIDGE, TN32

We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Robertsbridge TN32, for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent. The role is 16 hours per week, working Monday and Wednesday from 9:30am to 2:30pm, and Thursday 9:30am - 3:30pm, term-time only

This is a fixed term contract until January 2027

What you will be doing

• General kitchen duties
• Putting away deliveries
• Food preparation
• Serving, cleaning and washing up
• Assisting with inventory management
• Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters
• Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• Undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
