Full job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and self motivated chef to join our team at Oranges & Lemons - Oxford

This role would be ideal for someone looking to gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced kitchen with the aim on developing further in becoming a Head Chef in the future. We are expanding fast with multiple new sites in prime locations on the horizon.

The successful Chef will be flexible towards working hours including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays and have previous pub experience.

This is a very hands-on role in a kitchen where you will need to be capable of ensuring prep is maintained and controlled throughout service utilising the quieter periods to ensure there is enough stock to run a steady service, control ordering and stock levels ensuring the business doesn’t run out of key menu items and have a robust knowledge of food hygiene and understand correct recording and reporting.

Qualifications
- Food preparation skills
- Cooking experience
- Culinary background
- Knowledge of food safety protocols
- Previous kitchen experience
- Restaurant experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Understanding of serving procedures
