Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Team Members to join our dynamic Bistro and Deli team at Champagne + Fromage, Harrogate. As a Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring that food preparation and safety standards are met. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion about French food and champagne. Responsibilities

  • Prepare food and beverages according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer enquiries or concerns.
  • Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service flow without compromising quality.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant and bar experience is preferred, particularly in food preparation or serving roles.
  • Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food safety standards.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately.
  • A passion for food and a willingness to learn new techniques in the kitchen.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
