We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable individuals to join our bar & waiting team at The Old Mill Inn, Pitlochry.

If you love working in a fast-paced environment, enjoy meeting people, and take pride in delivering great service, you’ll fit right in with our team. This role is fast paced and high-energy, you must be able to perform at the top of your game for your full 12 hour shift each day.

As part of our bar & waiting team, you’ll be at the heart of the action - serving drinks & waiting tables, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and helping our guests have a great time whether they’re here for live music or sport, a night or two away, or simply a relaxed drink in the courtyard, beer tent or bar.

These roles are full-time, permanent positions.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Serving a wide range of drinks including draught beer, cocktails, wines and spirits
  • Providing friendly, efficient service at all times
  • Keeping the bar clean, organised and fully stocked
  • Working as part of a supportive team during busy services and live music nights
  • Engaging with guests to create a warm and welcoming environment
  • Assisting on the restaurant floor & outdoor dining areas
  • Above all, providing 5-star customer service level which exceeds expectations
  • Upward of 40-hour week including shift, evening & weekend work

Qualifications

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy bar environment
  • Previous bar experience is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and great service
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest services
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK
