Full job description

Bottega del Mastro is an authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Winchester, where everything is made from scratch with passion and dedication. From our fresh handmade pasta to every single sauce and dressing, we believe in the true art of Italian "fatto in casa" (homemade).

Our commitment to quality is reflected in our reputation: we are proud to hold 4.9-star reviews on Google, thanks to our exceptional food and the warm atmosphere we provide to our guests. We are now looking for an experienced waiter to join our growing family

Important: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older due to licensing requirements and the nature of the role, which includes serving alcoholic beverages.

The Role

As part of our team, you will be an ambassador for authentic Italian hospitality. Your responsibilities will include:

  • The Welcome: Greeting guests with genuine warmth and professionalism.
  • Service Excellence: Managing table service with precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Presenting our daily homemade specials and sauces, explaining our artisanal process, and recommending the perfect wine pairings.
  • Teamwork: Working closely with the kitchen to ensure the high standards our guests expect from a 5-star rated restaurant.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven Experience: At least 1–2 years in a high-quality restaurant environment.
  • Artisanal Mindset: A true appreciation for fresh, homemade ingredients and traditional Italian techniques.
  • Professionalism: The ability to maintain 4.9-star service standards even during busy periods.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English.
