Duties

  • Lead food production efforts, preparing high-quality coffee-based beverages, snacks, and light meals in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain efficient operations and uphold food safety protocols
  • Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, presentation, and freshness of all menu items
  • Order supplies as needed, and maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service, including serving food and beverages directly to guests when required
  • Assist in developing new menu items or specials to enhance the customer experience and keep offerings exciting

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in a culinary or hospitality setting, preferably within a restaurant or café environment
  • Extensive kitchen experience with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
  • Familiarity with food production processes specific to coffee shops or similar establishments is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in food handling
  • Previous experience in hospitality roles that involve team management and multitasking under pressure
