Full job description

Front of House/Bar Person (day work only) at a beautiful outdoor setting on the oldest vineyard in the UK. You must be based on the Isle of Wight.

Adgestone Vineyard is set on a 10 acre site hidden beneath Brading Downs on a quiet country road. Making 40,000 bottles of wine per year from its own 11,000 vines.

We are a busy tourist attraction offering wine tasting lessons, vineyard tours, outside dining and local farm shop sales five days a week, Wed to Sun.

The job role includes taking food and drink orders at the bar. Serving drinks and food outside. Clearing tables. Serving at the shop till and answering questions on produce and restocking shelves.

You will be required to give wine tasting lessons ( following expert training).

During quiet periods there will also be some light manual field work (full instructions and training given). You will also be given quad bike training and for this reason it is essential that you have a full and valid UK drivers licence and must be aged at least 21 years.

This is a 5 day a week Wed-Sun job 9.30am-5pm July to end Sept with no ability to take holidays during July and August. Immediate start available.

Good previous relevant experience essential. References will be sought.
