Position Overview:

As Waiting staff, you’ll provide excellent customer service. You will have the sole responsibility for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. You will require strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Collaboratively with other team members while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional attitude
  • Take orders, serve food and drinks promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, including tables and dining spaces
  • Handle payments and provide accurate change
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
  • Support customers with special dietary requests or concerns
  • Work as part of a team to ensure a positive dining experience for every guest

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a waiting staff role (3+ years)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays
  • Knowledge of food and drink menus is an asset
