Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation and culinary excellence, contributing to the creation of exceptional dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in kitchen operations and a commitment to food safety standards. The Chef de Partie will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards of quality and service, ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in meal preparation
  • Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations during service periods
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of orders
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
  • Support junior kitchen staff through training and mentorship as required
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards
  • Previous experience working as part of a professional kitchen team, ideally in a similar role such as demi chef or commis chef
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous learning in the hospitality industry
