Overview

The Greedy Banker in Rainham is looking for a Bar Supervisor to lead our bar team and to set the standard for exceptional service in our lively sports bar. In this energetic role, you’ll oversee daily bar operations, ensure exceptional service, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the bar staff, fostering teamwork and maintaining high standards of service and professionalism
  • Oversee beverage preparation, ensuring all drinks are crafted to quality standards and food safety regulations are followed
  • Manage daily bar operations, including inventory control and maintaining cleanliness and organisation
  • Train new team members on serving techniques, food safety protocols, and customer engagement strategies
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations related to food production, alcohol service, and sanitation practices
  • Assist in creating innovative drink menus and promotional events to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat visits

Requirements

  • Proven supervising experience in a hospitality setting, preferably within restaurants or bars
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff toward excellence
  • Full availability for our standard opening hours
  • Experience with cocktail-making would be an advantage
  • An interest in sport would be an advantage

This is a full time position and can be available for an immediate start, although we are happy to wait for the right candidate. Please be advised that we will not consider candidates with weekend restrictions on availability.

Pay: £13.25 per hour
