Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or those eager to develop their skills in commercial cleaning. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and hygienic environment for our clients and their visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of restaurant and other commercial facilities according to specified standards
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms and customer areas
  • Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
  • You will also be required on some shifts to run the linen operations - which is laundry and ironing
  • Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a secure working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work

Weekly Rota

You will be allocated shifts on a rota basis. However your schedule will likely follow:

Monday 7am - 3pm

Thursday 7am - 3pm

Friday 7am - 3pm

Saturday 7am - 1pm

Sunday 7am - 1pm

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
