Merchant Leisure, the dynamic hospitality group behind some of Edinburgh’s top venues — The Newsroom, Jackson The Tailor, Burgers & Beers Grillhouse, The Piper’s Rest, The Railbridge, and Merchant's Tavern — is expanding, and we’re looking for Kitchen Assistant’s to join our team at Gordon’s Trattoria. Gordon’s Trattoria is a traditional Italian restaurant situated on Edinburgh’s most vibrant and busiest streets, the Edinburgh Royal Mile. We have a delicious selection of Italian pasta dishes and authentic home-made pizza’s. Gordon’s Trattoria has been a locally owned business for over 40 years, so you know the food is good! You’ll play a key role in shaping our guest experience and driving the success of our venues.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the business with the everyday ins and outs of what makes our establishments work efficiently.
  • Everyday cleaning tasks.
  • Maintain high standards in food preparation, cleaning and supporting the kitchen team.
