Full job description

We are looking for a mature and friendly person to join our team. Customer service is of the highest priority so you must be professional and enjoy talking to people. This post is a long term job so you must be able to commit to at least one year and ideally have some management experience.

The Fat Pheasant is an award winning gastropub with many regular customers. We are open Friday to Sunday with a Thursday evening every other week. Car driver essential as no public transport. Must be able to work Friday’s.

Your job will involve meeting and greeting, seating, taking orders and delivering food and drink, cleaning tables and keeping the bar ready for service. You will be there to support the Manager and proactively work to ensure the success of the pub.

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, who is friendly and reliable. Service can be quiet or extremely busy so you need to be able to cope with both scenarios .
