Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Front of House team member to provide exceptional guest service in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience from arrival to departure. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. A positive attitude and strong organisational skills are key to success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in throughout their meal and addressing any needs or concerns
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas
  • Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, including garnishing or setting up stations
  • Handle transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
