Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Member to join our vibrant team. As a Party Host / Cafe Member, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by ensuring that all aspects of their event run smoothly. You will be responsible for overseeing the party from start to finish, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable and excited for their event.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of party areas, ensuring cleanliness and organisation throughout the event.
  • Engage with guests during the party, providing assistance as needed and upselling additional services or products.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure all activities are conducted according to the planned schedule.
  • Handle any guest enquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of menu items and food preparation methods to provide accurate information to guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
  • Basic culinary skills and understanding of food preparation techniques are advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks during events.
  • Basic maths skills for managing guest counts and orders accurately.
  • Ability to upsell products or services in a friendly manner to enhance guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to help others and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
