Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, with a focus on hospitality, food safety, and guest satisfaction. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements
  • Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring timely delivery
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to during service
  • Assist in food preparation or organising the dining area as needed
  • Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each service period
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service station and dining area

Skills

  • Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
  • Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously
  • Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
