Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere within our establishment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, engaging with diverse customers while ensuring high standards of hospitality and safety are upheld.

Responsibilities

  • Serve a variety of drinks efficiently and accurately to customers in a timely manner
  • Take orders and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance customer experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and safety within the premises
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
  • Lone working and as part of the team

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to team success
  • Must be aged 18 or over in accordance with licensing laws
  • Must be able to work late nights and weekends
