Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join the team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to showcase their skills within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Work with kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Manage food production processes, maintaining consistency and presentation excellence
  • Follow food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely serving of meals
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control effectively
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
  • Assist in menu planning and development to meet customer preferences and seasonal trends

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
  • Knowledge of food production processes and restaurant operations
  • Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
