Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant/BarSupervisor to join our growing friendly team at the Shutters Inn Gotherington, Cheltenham, GL52 9EZ, working alongside the Chef Owners and our Bar/Restaurant Manager to ensure that the Front of House is running efficiently.

Previous experience in a similar position is required to become a key player of our Team

You will need transport due to location or be local to the area.

Duties will include-

* Leading the team by example to ensure that they work to the best of their ability and to provide training when needed

* Provide excellent customer service

* Hands on role serving customers food and drinks and taking food and drink orders

* Helping to organise and set up events and functions when needed.

* Dealing with cash and card payments

* Ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy. We work together and help out where needed

* Restocking the bar ensuring that drink/food stock is rotated correctly and all beer lines are cleaned weekly with our automated system.

*Help Organising rotas for the Front of House team.

* Working to targets so that the business can be profitable and waste is kept to a minimum.

*Hours will be 30- 35 + hours per week with straight and split shifts.

Competitive rate of hourly pay dependant on age and experience, plus an equal share of the tips whilst on duty.

We pay weekly and by the hours worked, not salary allowing the option to earn more through the year during busier times and to cover when needed.

Usually a 4 day week

Qualifications can be gained whilst working. Employee discounts.

We close on Christmas, Boxing Day and most Mondays, apart from Bank Holidays

Over 18 only as bar work is involved

There is No Live in Accomodation available

Working hours will involve days,evenings and weekends so flexibility is needed. If interested please send us your cv.
