We’re looking for an experienced and charismatic Floor Supervisor to join our management team and help lead service from the front.

The Role

As Floor Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring every guest receives exceptional service from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave. You’ll lead by example, motivate the floor team and maintain the high standards that Opium is known for.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a busy cocktail bar and enjoys creating unforgettable guest experiences.

  • Ensure smooth communication between the floor and bar teams.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and confidently.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Support management with training and day-to-day operations.
  • Drive sales through confident recommendations and upselling.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Supervisor or Senior Waiter/Waitress in a premium bar, cocktail bar or restaurant.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Confident leading a team in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Well-presented with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Good knowledge of food, drinks and cocktails is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and late-night shifts.

What We Offer

  • Up to £18 per hour (this is including service)
  • Staff discounts across The Breakfast Group's venues.
  • Paid training and ongoing development.
  • Career progression opportunities.
  • A supportive, ambitious management team.
  • The opportunity to work in one of London’s most exciting and recognised cocktail bars.
  • Staff socials and team events.

If this sounds like you…

We’d love to hear from you. Apply today with your CV and a short introduction telling us why you’d be a great fit for Opium.
