Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an enjoyable atmosphere for guests by serving drinks efficiently and maintaining high standards of service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and providing exceptional customer experiences. The successful applicant will be well-organised, personable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of drinks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system.
  • Restock bar supplies as needed, monitoring inventory levels regularly.
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to serve customers courteously and efficiently.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
