Front of House & Patient Coordinator

Full-time | Monday–Friday | Balham, London

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding patient care?

Do you enjoy building relationships with people, staying organised in a busy environment, and making a real difference to a patient's experience?

We are looking for an exceptional Front of House & Patient Coordinator to join our friendly, high-performing private dental practice in Balham.

You'll be the first person our patients meet and one of the most important members of our team, helping patients feel informed, supported and cared for throughout their journey. For the right candidate, this role offers a genuine opportunity to develop into a Treatment Coordinator (TCO), taking on greater responsibility for patient consultations, treatment acceptance and practice growth.

About Us

We are a modern, well-established private dental clinic providing high-quality general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and advanced dental implant treatment.

Our practice is built around exceptional patient care, clinical excellence and a supportive team culture where everyone is encouraged to develop and grow.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing a warm, professional welcome to every patient.
  • Managing a busy reception desk and appointment diary.
  • Answering telephone and email enquiries with confidence and empathy.
  • Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
  • Coordinating appointments across multiple clinicians.
  • Managing recalls and following up on outstanding treatment.
  • Liaising with dentists, nurses, laboratories and suppliers.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and correspondence.
  • Assisting with day-to-day clinic administration.
  • As your experience develops, presenting treatment plans, discussing finance options and supporting patients with treatment decisions.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Previous dental reception or healthcare reception experience (essential).
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, friendly and professional attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership.
  • A genuine desire to develop professionally.

Previous experience as a Treatment Coordinator is welcomed but not essential. We are happy to train the right individual with the right personality, attitude and ambition.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Performance-related bonus.
  • Full training and mentoring towards a Treatment Coordinator role.
  • Career progression within a growing private practice.
  • Friendly, supportive and experienced team.
  • Modern, high-quality clinical environment.
  • Staff discounts on dental treatment.
  • Ongoing professional development.

If you're looking for a long-term career where you can grow, develop new skills and become an integral part of a successful private dental practice, we'd love to hear from you.

Please send your CV together with a short cover letter explaining why you would be a great fit for our team.
