Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, ensuring smooth daily operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a busy restaurant or hotel setting, supporting culinary staff and contributing to a high standard of service. Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team
  • Support chefs with cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and work surfaces
  • Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are washed, dried, and stored correctly
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, sinks, and storage spaces
  • Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Support serving staff during busy periods by providing necessary assistance when required
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Requirements
