Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and service, and maintaining an exceptional guest experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for culinary arts, team management, and hospitality to lead a motivated team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food and beverage staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality standards and presentation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of operation.
  • Assist in the training and development of team members, fostering a positive working environment.
  • Manage daily stock levels, order supplies, and monitor inventory to prevent shortages or wastage.
  • Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, bar, and dining areas.
  • Collaborate with management to develop menus, promotional activities, and optimise operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to by staff at all times.

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
  • Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel service environments.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests.
  • Familiarity with restaurant service procedures including serving etiquette.
  • Knowledge of culinary practices related to hospitality industry standards such as barista experience or hotel experience is advantageous.
