Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Front of House Staff to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant service, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves engaging with customers, ensuring smooth service operations, and supporting the overall atmosphere of our establishment. Flexibility to work during peak hours and weekends is preferred, and previous experience in food service is essential to excel in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and manage reservations efficiently
  • Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages promptly
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and personalised interactions
  • Handle payments accurately using the POS system
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
  • Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the front of house area

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service, ideally within a similar setting
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
  • Experience in serving, upselling, and guest services techniques
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash management
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy hours
  • Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
